Men’s home slides
Browse open styles in the JANEX men’s home slides collection. Compare each model’s strap layout, footbed shape and finish. Its description lists the materials and any adjustable fastening included in that design. Before choosing a size, check the insole length and product size chart. Unisex styles are shared between the women’s and men’s sections.
Men's house slides: compare the open front
Start by looking at the front shape and where the straps cross the foot. Photographs from above help you compare strap width and placement, while side views show the sole profile. Then check the footbed and upper material. An open style is a starting point for your choice, not a complete description of fit. Assess each pair using its own model information rather than the shared category name.
Instep and width: what does the size number leave out?
Insole length matters, but it does not describe the space beneath a strap. If you need more room across the instep in other footwear, ask about your chosen style before ordering. Do not assume every model can be adjusted or that a strap will change its fit with wear. Treat adjustment as a feature only when it is explicitly described. Including the model, colour and size lets us answer about the right pair.
Compare materials component by component
Find the upper, footbed and outsole details in the product description. One component does not define the rest: the upper material is not a description of the entire construction. For similar colours, open both products' details and compare the same fields. If you want a particular material, choose based on explicit information rather than a photograph alone. Ask us if a detail is missing instead of inferring composition from the visible texture.
Comparing slides with men's slippers and boot slippers
To compare slides with footwear offering more coverage, browse men's slippers. For a higher upper, look at men's boot slippers. In each category, assess the shape and measurements separately, even when choosing another model from the same brand. A unisex listing may appear in two departments while still being the same product. You do not need to switch departments to find size options for that pair; check the options on its page.
Sizing: compare measurements, not just the number
Start by measuring both feet. Stand on a sheet of paper, mark the furthest points at the toes and heel, then measure the distance between them. Use the longer measurement for comparison. Wear socks when measuring if that is how you plan to wear your new pair. Do not automatically copy the size from another type of shoe: the number alone does not describe the length or shape of the inside.
Open the selected product's size chart and check the insole length in centimetres. Foot length and insole length are different measurements, so do not treat them as interchangeable. If your measurement falls between the listed values, or you have a question about width, contact us with the model name, colour and your measurement. This lets us discuss the particular pair rather than give a general size recommendation.
Care depends on the material
Before cleaning your footwear for the first time, check the information supplied with it and the description of your particular model. Do not assume that every pair of slippers is machine washable: the upper, insole and sole may need different care. If instructions are missing, ask us before using a cleaning product or soaking the whole pair. Include the model name and colour in your message, as the word 'slippers' alone does not identify the material.
Questions before you order
Should I choose the same size as my outdoor shoes?
Do not rely only on the size you wear in other shoes. Compare your foot measurement with the selected model's chart and check its insole length. If unsure, send us both measurements and the product name rather than choosing a larger size just in case.
Do open toes mean a looser fit?
Not necessarily. Strap placement and the shape of the footbed also affect fit. The size number alone does not describe room across the instep. If you are unsure, send us the model and your foot measurement before ordering.
Are the upper and insole made from the same material?
Not necessarily. Check the upper, lining, insole and outsole separately in the selected model's details. Photographs show the appearance, but do not by themselves confirm the material composition or type of lining.
When will my pair be dispatched?
Ready-stock items are dispatched within a day; a model or size that needs to be sewn is dispatched within 3 days. This is the dispatch time, not the carrier's delivery time. If you need a particular date, ask about the selected pair before ordering.
